CGNET Services Inc, Palo Alto (USA) – For about 20 years, was an authorised representative and consultant to CGNET Services Inc, providing consultancy and advise in the areas of communications, facilty management network design and training. Regions covered for CGNET include, South and South-East Aisa, East and West Africa and China. Occasional visits to CGNET-HQs for R&D in the US as well.

Ford Foundation – Part of the core team that designed, developed and deployed an Integrated Voice and Data Network for the Ford Foundation. A comprehensive system consisting, of data security, email, a Wide-Area Network, and Voice-over-IP network in all locations of Ford Foundation. The offices covered were mainly in the south-east asia region. Manila, Jakarta, Beijing and New Delhi.

Centre for International Foresty Reseach (CIFOR) Bogor, Indonesia – Managed a 250 node network and the IT department for CIFOR on several occasions. Now on contract to tune and maintain the network for high-perfomance, security and remote management.

International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) Los Banos, Philippines – Managed the IT department and their large network, over 1500 nodes for more than a year. Assisted them in the selection of a new IT Manager as well. Currently, monitoring their servers remotely.

International Resources Group (USAID Project), New Delhi – For the India office of IRG, setup and maintained a small network, with email, Internet access and standard office applications. Also assisted IRG in setting up their website and Intranet.

Academy for Educational Development (USAID Project), New Delhi – For AED’s office in India setup a network with all the standard applications including email, internet access and file sharing. Also assisting AED in setting up a website.

CyberExpo – Conducted over 75 technical seminars in a period of 2 years for CyberExpo.The seminars were public seminars conducted all over India and were very well attended and were extremely popular. Over 5000 participants attended these seminars.The topics ranged from Data Communications, Internet, Intranet and even hands-on System Administration.

Maruti Udyog Ltd – Conducted an inhouse workshop exclusively for the senior managers of Maruti to acquaint them with the Internet and Internet technologies. As part of the courseware provided them with “binary” courseware, a custom made CDROM with documentation and several useful programs.

Global Groupware Solutions Pvt Ltd (GGS), New Delhi – Provided GGS with a comprehensive solution of Linux based servers both for their own office use as well as for deploying groupware applications based on Lotus Notes for their clients. GGS is now using Linux based servers for several of their solutions.

Synapse Communcations Pvt Ltd, New Delhi – Provided Synapse with consultancy and advise in the area of Internet Security, application development including peer-to-peer products and other Internet and web-based technologies. Synapse has several servers for the purpose of hosting web sites and web based applications and these servers are monitored and protected by Linkaxis.

Archives & Reseach Centre for Enthomusicology (ARCE) Designed a comprehensive Intranet application providing access to a rich content database of Ehtnomusicology. Also developing a workflow system for ARCE. Controlled Internet access with high-security, email and proxy server is currently being deployed.

CARE-India, New Delhi Established an E-mail link for CARE-India with its headoffice in New York and also 16 other offices around the world. The system also enables CARE-India to send telex and fax messages generated on the computer. Assisted CARE-India in setting up a 90 node LAN with multiple servers in a hybrid environment. An internet gateway and firewall was also set up during this time.

International Board of Plant Genetic Resources (IBPGR), New Delhi, Assisted IBPGR, to train staff, and develop in?house applications for data collection and information retrieval systems. Established an E?mail link with the headquarters in Rome. Providing an efficient and cost-effective method of communications.

Controller General Defence Accounts (CGDA)
Conducted Communication seminars for CGDA in order to assist them to setup a nation-wide network. The network will be a UNIX based – UUCP transfer of accounting data from all branches of CGDA.
